Success....kind of........well not really
I was very happy to see that my Reuse video made it onto the Feed section of
Creative Reviews website.
I'm sure they put pretty much anything on there but it still brought a smile
to my face. So I thought I would screenshot it and post it on here.....lame......much!
Don't worry my head hasn't got any bigger, I can still walk through doors.
OK (they've done it again) GO
OK GO first came to my attention with the music video
for Here it Goes Again, a video that made smile with
synchronised dancing on treadmills in retro attire.
They did it again with the music video This Too Shall Pass
which was shot in one take which I still find hard to
believe but want to believe.
Guess what, they've done it again with their music video
for their new single End Love. Please check it out, It's
such a fun video and the songs great too which helps.
I guess they're a band more known for their music videos
(unless your a die hard fan) than their music but I guess
thats not a bad thing.

1,2,3,4
I acquired A lomo supersampler camera at Christmas and I finally got
round to using it and I've barely been able to put it down since.
I have just bought loads of old films to feed my habit and I already have
quite a few more to develop. I'm also tempted to get a Diana mini.....this
is turning into an expensive habit!

Having fun with paper
In this project we were asked to promote reuse. It was quite a
challenging brief - how to make something that can be seen as
boring or patronising into something that is educational but
also fun.
To solve this I played around with paper......believe it or not it
is the same piece of paper used from start until its thrown in
the newspaper bin. It took a lot of forward thinking but I got
there in the end.
Go on reuse, you know you want to.

Two good things for the English to smile about at the world cup
What a great subject to start my blog on.....the world cup. Apart from the optimistic, it probably didn't come as a complete shock that we didn't do so good. However, two things have put a smile on my face whilst watching this years world cup and that doesn't include my reaction to seeing Heskey coming on.
Firstly there's the awesome camera view thats in the top corner of the goal. I could probably watch the whole game at that angle and would still be happy. Wouldn't see much but that doesn't really matter.
Secondly theres the high definition slow motion replays. My most fond memory of this world cup will be the slow motion replay of John Terry's efforts of blocking the ball with his head......priceless.
